Mental Health Survey

Surveys contain sets of questions used to collect detailed information about different aspects of somebody’s life from their point of view.

When you join the MHIM project we will invite you to complete an online survey at the beginning of each 6-month round. The survey will contain questions about moods, friendships, emotions, stress etc. This survey takes 20-30 minutes to complete.

By collecting survey answers from young people every 6 months we will be able to better understand how and which aspects of mental health change over time. This will allow us to identify periods of heightened stress and emotions during adolescence which will inform the development of support practices for the future.

The Mental Health Survey will ask you questions about the following topics.
These topics have been decided with a young person advisory group who discussed the most important mental health concepts for young people.
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Quality of Life
  • Behaviour Problems
  • Self-Esteem
  • Emotion Regulation
  • Academic Stress
  • Relationships
  • Stress
  • Digital Engagement
  • Loneliness
  • Neurodivergence
